How often does the job board update with new studies?

The job board updates several times per day M-F with hundreds of new studies. Occasionally, studies are added over the weekend. 

Why aren’t any studies showing?

Usually, a hard refresh fixes this. You can perform a hard refresh by pressing Command+Shift+R on Mac or Ctrl + F5 on Windows. Where are these studies coming from?

Top market research companies, independent recruiters, and universities. We do our best to verify each studies posted onto the job board but if you notice anything off, please report it.

What is a focus group?

A focus group is a small, in-depth discussion group led by a moderator to discuss participants’ opinions of concepts, products, or services. This session may be online or in person.

What is an unmoderated task?

Unmoderated tasks typically involve surveys or user tests that participants complete independently within a specified timeframe. These tasks may range from simple assignments such as recording a video of product usage or responding to questions, to any task where direct moderation isn’t necessary.

What is a discussion board?

Discussion boards often extend over multiple days and involve a series of unmoderated tasks. These can include diary studies where participants record responses over time, product tests where they interact with apps or websites, and completing multiple surveys or tasks over a period, such as filling out one survey per week for a month.

How will I know I’ve been selected for a focus group?

You’ll be contacted by phone and/or email.

How will I be paid?

When you complete a focus group, you’ll be paid by the facility hosting it — by cash, check, Paypal, or Visa gift card.
